Company Description:

The Willow Space for Trauma Treatment is an experiential, trauma-focused practice that provides individual therapy to adolescents, young adults, and adults who struggle with trauma related disorders, including dissociation, C-PTSD, attachment wounding, and childhood abuse/neglect. We utilize modalities such as EMDR and IFS-Informed EMDR, as well as attachment wounding repair models like the developmental needs meeting strategy (DNMS). The Willow Space is a hybrid payment practice, taking a mixture of insurances and private pay.

 

Role Description:

We have a current need for full-time, Trauma Therapist at The Willow Space for Trauma Treatment in Paoli, PA. This is a 1099 role that involves providing trauma-focused therapy to clients, primarily in-person at our office in Paoli, PA. Please note, this role will shift to W2 in 2026. Those interested in fully virtual roles need not apply. There are opportunities for intake/admissions based work in addition to a clinical caseload for those with appropriate/relevant backgrounds.

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field. MFTs/LMFTs highly preferred!

• Licensure as a LPC/LCSW/LMFT

• Experience in trauma-focused therapy and evidence-based treatment modalities. EMDR, EFT, play therapy, IFS training, etc.

Necessary skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills both oral and written with colleagues as well as a variety of clients, including adolescents and adults

• Ability to work with a diverse range of clients with sensitivity and empathy.

• Strong ability with time management and managing your own schedule, including managing client scheduling and client documentation.

• Ability to conceptualize cases through the AIP model

• Ability to document client cases in an electronic health record in a timely manner

 

In this role, you will:

• Conduct trauma therapy using EMDR and other experiential modalities.

• Help clients heal from the effects of traumatic events, including systemic trauma, attachment trauma, and relational trauma

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client.

• Utilize data based screeners to measure progress with each client on a regular basis 

• Engage in peer consultation

• Learn to network and market yourself to fill your caseload with your ideal clients.
