Areas We Serve
Trauma Therapy and EMDR in Paoli, PA
Paoli is where we call home. We sit in Chester County, spread across Tredyffrin and Willistown townships, right on the stretch of Lancaster Avenue (Route 30) that runs the old Pennsylvania Railroad main line. The Paoli train station carries the SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale line and Amtrak's Keystone service, which means easy access to commute in to the office from Philadelphia. Our office is just .5 miles and a 15 minute walk from the Daylesford train station.

A lot of Paoli sits inside the corporate corridor that runs from Wayne out to Exton, with some of the densest employment in the state. We see the people inside those offices. Working professionals, often women carrying complex PTSD under a calm exterior, who have held everything together for years and want to actually deal with what's underneath. Being our home base, Paoli is the easiest place to see us in person, often within a week of reaching out.

Trauma Therapy and EMDR in Malvern, PA
Malvern is the next borough west, ten minutes from our office and one stop down the same train line. It runs from the small historic downtown out to the Great Valley corporate centers, where a large share of our Malvern clients spend their days. Immaculata sits just past the western edge.

For someone working in Great Valley, the office is a short drive away with flexibility for telehealth sessions for busier weeks. We work with Malvern residents on event trauma, relational and interpersonal wounds, and the long-standing, complex trauma that doesn't resolve on its own. Using a blend of EMDR and IFS, we help you understand the different parts of you that feel like you're being pulled in a million different directions.
Trauma Therapy
and EMDR in
Exton, PA
Exton sits in West Whiteland Township, at the western end of that same corporate corridor, where Route 30 meets Route 100. It's busier and more spread out than the boroughs to the east, more shopping and office park than walkable downtown, and it's grown quickly. From Exton, our Paoli office is about fifteen minutes east on Lancaster Avenue.

For Exton clients, we work with professionals and parents on trauma of every kind, event-based, relational, and complex. If you've been carrying something for years and have started to wonder whether therapy that just talks about it is ever going to work, beginning EMDR therapy is worth a discussion to see how we can help lift years of learned patterns and behaviors.
Trauma Therapy
and EMDR in
Newtown Square, PA
Newtown Square is the one Delaware County town on this list, about twelve miles from Center City and roughly twenty to twenty-five minutes east of our Paoli office by way of Routes 252 and 3. There's no train station, and the commercial center of gravity has shifted toward Ellis Preserve and the corporate space around it.

That drive is exactly why telehealth matters for Newtown Square clients. You can do meaningful EMDR work over secure video without losing an hour each way in traffic on West Chester Pike if you need to be back in office or get home for dinner, and you can still come into Paoli when you have the flexibility. We see Newtown Square residents for the full range of trauma we treat, with the same experiential approach, EMDR and IFS, that we use with everyone.
Trauma Therapy and EMDR in Berwyn, PA
Berwyn sits in Easttown Township, squarely on the Main Line, sharing the Tredyffrin-Easttown school district with Paoli and Devon. It's a short drive or a single train stop from our office, which makes in-person work straightforward for most Berwyn families.

Because we treat clients from age 13 up, Berwyn is a town we hear from for adolescents as well as adults. Trauma in a teenager often looks like anger, shutdown, or anxiety that can feel hard to understand. EMDR gives younger clients a way to process what happened without having to narrate every detail out loud, which many of them find easier than traditional talk therapy. For the adults, the work is similar; building a foundation to enable reprocessing the experiences that keep resurfacing.

How we work, wherever you're coming from
A few things hold true across all of these towns.

Our expertise lays in experiential trauma therapy, including attachment based models, EMDR and IFS, not talk therapy. Almost any trauma fits that framework if you're willing to work in it, whether the wound is a single event, a relationship, or years of something harder to name.

You can choose to receive services either in-person or telehealth, with flexibility for hybrid sessions. The Paoli office is open to anyone willing to drive in. Secure video reaches anywhere in Pennsylvania, which is what makes us a realistic option for clients in Newtown Square, Exton, and the corners of the Main Line where the commute would otherwise be the deciding factor.

We take private pay and Aetna commercial insurance. We're honest about fit on the consultation call and have trusted referral sources within the community to provide, if needed. If experiential trauma work isn't right for what you're carrying, we'll say so.

If you're in Paoli, Malvern, Berwyn, Exton, Newtown Square, or anywhere across the Main Line and Chester County, and you're carrying something that hasn't moved on its own, reach out through our website. We'll talk through whether this work is a fit for you.
